Phlebotomy   

We offer a full phlebotomy clinic where blood samples are required for either the management of care and conditions in Practice or where the sampling is needed for the hospital or other healthcare providers.

Blood samples are taken in the mornings so they can be collected by local couriers to take to the hospital for testing in their laboratory each afternoon.

If your sample is required for a health care professional outside the Practice, you should bring the blood test form you have been given to your appointment.  This form has, in the embedded bar code, the details of whom the results should be sent to by the laboratory.

Patients should contact us for the results of their blood test if it is one requested by us and make follow up appointments as necessary.  If the sample/test was requested by the hospital, they will have your result to share.
